Vestibular Testing

Vestibular testing is a series of tests used to evaluate the function of the inner ear and the vestibular system, which is responsible for balance and spatial orientation. At our clinic, we offer comprehensive vestibular testing provided by licensed audiologists with extensive experience in vestibular evaluations.

During a vestibular test, our audiologists will conduct a series of tests to evaluate the function of the inner ear and the vestibular system. This may include electronystagmography (ENG), videonystagmography (VNG), or rotary chair testing.

The results of the vestibular test can help our audiologists diagnose and treat a variety of vestibular disorders, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuritis, and Meniere’s disease. It can also help determine the cause of dizziness or imbalance in individuals who are experiencing these symptoms.

If a vestibular disorder is diagnosed, our audiologists will work with the patient to develop an individualized treatment plan. This may include vestibular rehabilitation exercises, medication, or other forms of therapy to help manage symptoms and improve balance and spatial orientation.

We understand that vestibular disorders can be challenging and impact daily activities, and our audiologists are dedicated to providing personalized care and support to our patients. We also offer follow-up appointments to monitor the patient’s progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

If you are experiencing symptoms of dizziness, imbalance, or other vestibular-related symptoms, please contact our clinic to schedule an appointment with one of our experienced audiologists. We are committed to providing personalized care and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment for their vestibular needs.
