Auditory Processing Evaluations

Auditory processing evaluations are a series of tests used to evaluate how well the brain processes auditory information. At our clinic, we offer comprehensive auditory processing evaluations provided by licensed audiologists with extensive experience in this area.

During an auditory processing evaluation, our audiologists will conduct a series of tests to evaluate how well the brain processes various auditory stimuli, including speech and non-speech sounds. This may include tests of auditory memory, auditory discrimination, and auditory sequencing, among others.

The results of the auditory processing evaluation can help our audiologists diagnose and treat a variety of auditory processing disorders, including auditory processing disorder (APD) and central auditory processing disorder (CAPD). It can also help identify areas of weakness in auditory processing that may be impacting a patient’s communication abilities.

If an auditory processing disorder is diagnosed, our audiologists will work with the patient to develop an individualized treatment plan. This may include auditory training exercises, environmental modifications, or other forms of therapy to help improve auditory processing skills and communication abilities.

We understand that auditory processing disorders can be challenging and impact daily activities, and our audiologists are dedicated to providing personalized care and support to our patients. We also offer follow-up appointments to monitor the patient’s progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

If you are experiencing difficulties with auditory processing or have concerns about your communication abilities, please contact our clinic to schedule an appointment with one of our experienced audiologists. We are committed to providing personalized care and ensuring that our patients receive the best possible treatment for their auditory processing needs.
